Seattle based rapper J-Key has established notoriety with collaborations by several of L.A.’s most recognizable names like Pac Div, Glasses Malone and the late-Nipsey Hussle. Before he exits 2019, the rising star unveils a goodbye track to close out the year, titled, “Crazy”.
Produced by Mario Luciano, the song starts with a soundbite from Tupac’s legendary locker scene in the movie Juice and sets the tone for the topical twist and turns throughout the track.
On making “Crazy,” J-Key explains, “This song was created during a very wild season in my life. To be frank, I wrote it to keep my spirits high in a time where I was discouraged to the core. Shout out Mario Luciano on the beat, he snapped.”
Available now on his own Bottom Line Records, with Warrior Promotions, the song will appear on J-Key’s upcoming new project slated for a early 2020 drop. For updates on new music, his weekly freestyles and more, follow J-Key on Instagram.
