What’s going on? Please introduce yourself to our readers and tell us where you’re from.
I’m great today and how are you? My name is Qronik Jonez I’m an indie Neosoul artist here in Birmingham and raised in Arlington Al.

What was life like growing up in your city?
For me I was in a rural area and it was much different from places I visited as a child. But I’m glad I was exposed to more outside the area by my parents which inspired me musically.

What made you decide music was your passion?
I decided as a teenager I decided after competing in my first talent show. I was somewhat insecure but noticed I had confidence I never had when I performed and I knew then I would want to pursue it. I didn’t know how but I always felt I would be doing music on scale low or high..

Growing up which artists could we catch you listening to?
Michael Jackson, Babyface, Jodeci, SWV, Prince , Tony Tony Tony and many many more..

Tell us about the single you are currently pushing and where it’s available.
My new single is called 24/7 featuring Birmingham hop artist Jetzxn. It’s produced by Cory Savage and it’s from my forthcoming ep The Puff Theory ep part two the sequel to my 2016 release. I wanted to make what I consider for myself as my personal smoking theme and something that felt good.

What are some of your goals musically for the remainder of 2019?
Well my plan is to first push this new project as long and hard as possible and I’m looking to hopefully do some work in the UK later this year and you’ll see me soon do writing for some other artists because that’s been something I’ve wanted to do for awhile.

What else can we catch you doing besides Music?
Outside of music I’m pretty chill, however I’m in the early stages of trying to create a possible YouTube or Facebook show online to Discuss entertainment but on a more comedic level…aside from that I want to try my hand at acting even just being an extra is an opportunity.

What’s your definition of Grynd?
Mine personally would be to continue pushing towards a dream whatever it maybe regardless of any obstacles just keep pushing through.

Where can we keep up with you online?
You can find me on Facebook as Qronik Jonez, Twitter @qronikjonez and Instagram as @Qronikj.
Right now you can find my music on Spotify, Apple and iTunes, Google play, Amazon, Tidal, Bandcamp and all other digital

Any S/O’s?
Most definitely i want to shout out my ENTIRE management team known as TEAM ELMORE MANAGEMENT for believing in me so much! my supporters over the years and my producer Cory Savage, DJ Gorgeous as well for continued support since the beginning and Roderick Peterson for DDG studios for recording and making these songs come to life.
