Hope all is well with you all at this time . I’m druskii and I’m from Brooklyn but I’ve been in Ga the past 10+ years . Clayco to be exact .. to those unfamiliar that’s Clayton county.
Tell us the origin behind your name.
Family and close friends call me Dru . Musically I used to go as Surge but my brother called me Druskii once while we were with some folks and it felt right.
What made you decide music was your passion?
I used to freestyle a lot growing up.. then found my way to a piano one summer . That mixed with other instrument instruction gave me a respect for music I never had when I was just talking on beats.
How would you describe your style of music?
I’m all about having a good time and I like my music to reflect as such.. but also what it took to be able to have that great time .. the grind / journey is just as important as the destination in my opinion. I feel like I’ve been thru things others can relate to on a personal level.
Tell us about the new single ‘Fukitup’ you are currently pushing and where it’s available.
It’s in the process of being distributed to all places music’s available for streaming. Until then it’s on Ferrari Simmons rari talk 19
Lil Bankheads independent artists shit only vol2 and several Dj platforms thanks to Tampa and also the Kingpin !
What else can we catch you doing besides Music?
I have a up and coming clothing line Called sexNdrugs clothing based here in Ga.. and also a voice over company I started called personalized audio recordings LLC.
What’s next for you?
The sky if it’ll have me. But more music I’m always thinking of ways to change things up .
