I first discovered Dancody through his frequent collaborations with Sac-town rapper 916frosty. What a happy accident, because this guy makes dope ass music. While some of his songs are satirical, they’re always laced with strong production, surprising features, and witty bars that will make you crack a smile. Dancody’s ability to tow the line between comical meme rap and “real” music is what’s finding him success. It would be a travesty for me to not recommend his catalog.

If you’re looking for an amusing listen this weekend, Dancody’s Silver Spoon Coon should be a go-to for you. The rapper brings along a guest feature from Since99 behind some of the hardest-hitting beats he ever spits on. If laughing isn’t really your thing, seek professional help/check out the “sad rap” tracks Please Don’t Die or Netflix & Xans. If Indie is your thing, play The Upper East. Lastly, if you’re a New England boarding school alumni, you might appreciate a track like Patagonia. No matter what you’re into, this guy has got you covered.
